Can I just throw in here how amazing exercises for hip flexors are? One of the things I’ve been struggling with, especially on my long runs, is tightness. I faithfully stretch before and after my long runs, but still continued having issues with my hips and knee, particularly my right side (it might be left for you if you’re right handed…?). I found out that stretching hip flexors help with hip pain because it works different muscles than other stretches that I perform before a run. I highly recommend these, even if just in the morning after you wake up. I start with twelve in each set. It’ll make you feel loose and relaxed! Let me know if it works for you!
