I am going to start a running streak!!
I’m not sure how long it’s going to last–a week, a month, six months–but I’m going to try! I’ve needed some sort of motivation in the last couple weeks, and I’ve been running fairly consistently. But I would like to continue to build on that motivation, and I’ve found that once I get out there I usually end up pushing myself to go just a BIT farther!
Officially, today would be day 3 for me because I’ve run 3-4 miles both Wednesday and Thursday. I’m going to count it!
So short term goal for now: 31 days. Long term goal: TBD.
This is not as hard as it sounds! A running streak is really just running at least one mile every day, for as long as you’d like to continue the streak. Maybe for you it can be three days. Or three weeks. Who knows? You might find you enjoy it!
My first short term goal is going to be a month, and this is because I’ve already been running about three miles, several times a week, for the last year. I am just looking for a way to challenge myself because there are weeks where I don’t get out and do anything, and I’d like to be a little more consistent.
So join me! Whether that’s today or in a month, give yourself the challenge of joining this running streak! We can work this out together!
